ABOUT KAYSER STUDIOS
I’m Alissa Kayser, designer and founder of Kayser Studios.
Before launching the brand in 2024, I worked in costume design on film projects such as The Hunger Games: The Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes (Lionsgate), 1899 (Netflix), Mother Mary (A24), Euphoria (Julian Rosefeldt), and others.
These experiences taught me to design with personality in mind, to step into someone’s world and understand how they want to feel in their clothes. That instinct shapes everything I create today.
As a woman designing menswear, I naturally observe from the outside.
There is a certain clarity in that distance, a way of translating structure, movement, and identity into pieces that feel intimate rather than generic.
Kayser Studios is based in Berlin. I work exclusively with deadstock materials, which means each fabric comes in limited quantities and creates a natural, honest limitation to every piece.
For me, sustainability isn’t a statement. It’s the baseline.
Kayser Studios is about balance: softness and structure, restraint and detail, awareness and edge.
